Privacy notice

1. Data controller

Atakan Abanoz (atakanabanoz.com). This is a personal portfolio site and is not run on behalf of a company.

2. What data I collect

When you fill in the contact form:

• Your name and email address
• Your message
• Your company name, if you choose to add it

The page and the link (for example a campaign link) the form was sent from are recorded with your message. Your IP address is not stored; only an irreversible hash of it is kept to prevent repeated spam submissions.

3. What I use it for

The details from the contact form are used only to reply to your message. You will not receive ads, newsletters or promotional emails.

4. Cookies and site statistics

This site uses no cookies and has no tracking tool such as Google Analytics.

Visits are counted by the site's own cookieless counter: the page opened, country, device type (phone, tablet, computer) and the referring site. This information does not identify you and is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. If you arrived through a campaign link, that information is kept in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.

The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When this happens your browser connects to Google's servers and your IP address is passed to Google; Google Fonts sets no cookies.

5. Sharing

Your data is never shared with any third party or business for marketing purposes, never sold, and never used for any commercial activity. It is stored only on the infrastructure of the site's hosting provider (Cloudflare).

6. Storage and security

The connection between you and the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Messages are stored in a database on Cloudflare, where the site is hosted, and only Atakan Abanoz can access them, through an admin panel protected by sign-in.

Cloudflare's servers may be located outside Turkey; by confirming and sending the form you also agree that your data is stored on these servers for this purpose.

Data is kept for as long as needed to reply to your message and is deleted whenever you ask.

7. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed on the basis of the explicit consent you give before sending the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object. You can make any of these requests through the contact form on this site; I will reply within 30 days at the latest.
